About
Imogen discovered her passion for making objects in metal while studying for her degree at The Manchester School of Art.
She went on to further study at Birmingham School of Jewellery, where she created a Sculptural body of work for her MA show. This body of work predominately focused on the Silversmithing technique of hand scoring, a technique which enabled her to create angular, folded sheet metal sculptures.
After her studies Imogen got a place on the Starter Studio programme at Persistence Works studios in Sheffield. During her time in the Starter Studio she was able to further develop her sculptural forms, and translate their angular aesthetics into practical tableware.
Imogen has her own studio at The Persistence works in Sheffield where she continues to create angular tableware that is both functional and sculptural. She exhibits and sells her work at shows across the UK.
